CARE NEED TASK ACTION RESPONSE

To add a Care Need Task Action Response, go to Settings > Lookup Tables > A/R Support Tables > Care Need Task Action Response

ADD CARE NEED TASK ACTION RESPONSE TYPE

To add a new Care Need Task Action Response, click on the "Add Care Need Task Action Response” link

Enter the required information and click "Add". 

EDIT CARE NEED TASK ACTION RESPONSE

To edit a Care Need Task Action Response, click on the edit pencil. You can also end a Care Need Task Action Response by adding an end date.

Make your changes and click on the "Update" button.

VIEW CARE NEED TASK ACTION RESPONSE

To view a Care Need Task Action Response, click on the magnifying glass

The Preview Screen appears

DELETE CARE NEED TASK ACTION RESPONSE

To delete a Care Need Task Action Response, click on the trash can

PROFESSIONAL VS PARAPROFESSIONAL TASK ACTION RESPONSES

The Task Action responses that you can select from the dropdown list are can now be separated between your professional disciplines and your paraprofessional disciplines.  

To distinguish between Paraprofessional and Professional Task Action Responses, assign a group code for each. Group Code “Para” or “Prof”.  If you leave this blank, the response will be available for both Professional and Paraprofessional disciplines.

To add the “group” information to existing codes, select the “Edit” icon next to the code you want to change/update


Enter a Group code
, "Para” for your paraprofessional task action responses OR "Prof” for your professional task action responses.  Select the Update button

Here are some examples of codes you may want to use:

Professionals

  • Completed
  • Not applicable to this visit
  • In Process
  • Needs re-education

Paraprofessionals

  • Task Completed

  • Refused

  • Completed by Patient/Family/CG
 


Once you define your Care Needs, Goals and Interventions, the Task Actions information will be available within your service notes for you to document.
