ORDERS UNLOCK RECORD PRIVILEGE
You have a security permission that lets selected users “unlock” an Orders record when the Order is open/locked by another user.

To add privilege go to Settings > Security > Roles > Choose the role you want to add the privilege to > Click on the Magnifying glass to the right of the role > Under Permissions scroll down to > Patient Management > Click the check box to the left of “Orders Unlock Record” > Save.
Careficient System Administrators will have this permission. The intent of this permission is to unlock an order that is open/locked by another user. You will only want to use this option if the user left the record open and is no longer using their device (i.e., went to lunch,in a meeting, etc. and did not save/close the order). If you assign this permission to all other users that work with orders, you can potentially lose information documented by that user. Be sure to check with the user before you unlock their open/locked record.
BE SURE TO INSTRUCT ALL YOUR USERS TO SAVE AND CLOSE AN OPEN/LOCKED ORDER. THIS WILL AVOID OTHER USERS FROM RECEIVING A MESSAGE INDICATING THAT THE RECORD IS OPEN/LOCKED.
