HOSPICE ITEM SET FILE BUILD

To export your Hospice Item Set, go to Processes > Hospice Item Set File Build.

You can choose to a previously sent HIS by clicking on the drop down "Previously Sent".

You can either download a previously sent HIS OR...

Resent it

Choose your cut-off date

Click on the "View HIs Transmission File Records" icon to view the records ready to be sent

A preview of the files that are ready to be sent will appear

To transmit the HIS records, click on the "Build HIS Transmission File" icon.

Hospice HIS Response Posting

You can see the response to the HIS transmission within the Hospice Item Set section of the Orders tab. This response will tell you if the transmitted record was “Accepted” or “Rejected” after it was transmitted to the QIES ASAP system.  Use the following path to view this information: 

• Patients menu
• Patient Encounters option
• Find/Select a patient
• Select the Orders tab
• View the “response” (either “Accepted” or “Rejected) that appears in the Hospice Item Set section
