ADD NDC SERVICE PRIVILEGE

Allows user access to manually Add NDC (National Drug Code) to the Service Codes in General Support Tables.  For Hospice, agencies need to report the medications that the pharmacies “fill” on the claims for their patients.  This gives you the ability to search the NDC table (that is in the background, just like the medications data base and ICD-10 codes are tables in the background).  Most Hospice agencies upload a spreadsheet they receive from their pharmacy(ies).  This is the preferred method as there are many steps to enter the pharmacy information manually to get it on the bill.

To add privilege go to Settings > Security > Roles > Choose the role you want to add the privilege to > Click on the Magnifying glass to the right of the role > Under Permissions scroll down to > 
Settings > Lookup Tables > General Support Tables > Click the check box to the left of “Add NDC Service” > Save.
