REMOVE DISCIPLINE CODE FROM ORDERS (TN MCD) RULE

"When Exclude automatic printing of Frequency/Duration/Period" is active, then discipline code AND f+d information will be removed for print/fax views.  When "Exclude automatic printing of Frequency/Duration/Period" is active and "Remove Discipline Code From Orders (TN MCD)" is inactive, only f+d information will be removed for print/fax views. 

The rule can be turned on differently at the agency level and can be used or not used at the patient level.

 

The yellow is driven by what is entered on the left side of the scheduling, the green is what is driven by what you type in under order description. This is edit view of the 485 without the rule being turned on.

If you turn on the rule at the agency level and select “exclude automatic printing of Frequency/Duration/Period: Yes, on the patient 485 or addendum order,

it will only print what you have typed in the Order Description.
