SERVICES REQUESTED


Services Requested displays paraprofessional services for the patients that do not require Orders or OASIS.  

ADD SERVICE  (Top)

To add services requested, click on "Add Service".  

NOTE: For Careficient Agency Administrators, click on the following to learn more about the privileges for Show Services Requested.

Enter the required information.  You can also use this to schedule Stand Alone Supervisory Visits for your HHA, PTA and COTAs.  Whatever you schedule here, will place a scheduling icon on the patient's schedule that can be assigned to the associate.

EDIT SERVICE REQUESTED  (Top)

To edit and end services previously entered, select the “Edit Service” icon in the Services Requested section

Enter an “end” date in the edit End Date field and a reason from the Resolution dropdown list.  Enter a date in the Resolution Date field and select the Save/Close button.  This will remove all scheduled services from both the Patient and Associate scheduling calendars after the new “end” date.  

DELETE SERVICES REQUESTED  (Top)

To delete services previously entered that have not been assigned to an Associate, select the “Delete Service” icon in the Services Requested section.  

You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete.  Click "OK" to confirm.  This will remove this service from the Services Requested section as well as all scheduled services from the Patient scheduling calendar.

NOTE:  If you have at least one scheduled service assigned to an Associate, you will not be able to use the delete option. You can either remove all Associates assigned to this service and then delete the service, or you can edit this service to end it on an earlier date.

CHANGE CERTIFICATION IS NEEDED  (Top)

If you determine that orders are required after you have activated the patient, you can change this by clicking on the Change-Certification is needed link. This will add the 485 to the Orders tab and you can generate orders normally.

CHANGE CERTIFICATION IS NEEDED FOR ONLY CARE NEEDS  (Top)

If you need to add Care Needs for your disciplines to document on but you do not need orders, then click on Change-Certification is needed for only Care Needs link.  

NOTE:  Once you click this link, you will no longer have the option to Change-Certification is needed.

NOTE: For Careficient Agency Administrators, in order to use this function, you must have the rule turned on for Use Care Needs Plan - No Orders.

You will be asked if you are sure you want to change the care needs requirement status.  Click "OK" to confirm.

ADD CARE NEEDS PLAN  (Top)

This will add "Change-Certification is needed" and "Add Care Needs Plan" links to the "Services Requested" Section of the Orders Tab.  Click on "Add Care Needs Plan" link to add the Care Needs Plan to the Orders section.  

This will add the "Care Needs Plan" to the Orders section.  From here you can add the Care Needs as you normally do for anything else.  Click here to learn more about Adding Care Needs

Care Needs information is now available for you to print and will also show up in Service notes as Goals and Task Action items.
