ADD ASSESSMENT SERVICE

To add an assessment service:

• From the Orders tab in the Patient Encounter record, click the arrow icon in the row from the current certification period for the 485. 
• Select Add Assessment Service.

 

The Schedule Initial Assessment dialog displays.

 

• Select the service you want to schedule and enter the date you want the service to start.
• Click Save.

When you add an order for an initial assessment, the order automatically shows up on the patient calendar.  If the 485 has not been submitted, the order for the assessment flows to Locator 21.
